The Program
Guiding Boys to Men was founded on some simple but important truths.
- That all men were created in the image of God.
- That there is a clear design for who GOD expects us to be and a calling for us to follow His design.
- That through the seasons of life there will be challenges and struggles, distractions and temptations, but through a relationship with God and knowing him and his calling for us, we can and will become the men that God designed us to be.
These truths inspired us to create the Guiding Boys to Men Program as a means for Fathers to prepare their teenage sons for the challenges and struggles that come in post-high school season of life. The program was designed by Christian fathers and sons for Christian fathers and sons. The program includes Biblical infused principles, discussions and experiences centered around being Godly Men.
Topical Studies
As fathers, we know the kinds of things that young men deal with during their high school years. We also know that there is truth in the scriptures and wisdom and experience to be shared among the fathers. 40 topics will be covered over the 4 years of the program. The theme for each year and the topics covered were carefully chosen based on how the typical teenage comes of age.
Small Groups
There is an abundance of people talking at our teenagers these days. Beating the drum about the evils of sex and drugs or social media or what they want to be when they grow up. All important topics to discuss, not just preach at or cast judgment on. These are often topics that a father struggles to bring up and talk through one on one. The small group discussion guides pose the questions that need to be asked and lets the groups work through them in a way that is honest, vulnerable and without judgment.
Man Skills and Experiences
There is so much of learning of what it means to be a man that comes from doing not just talking. Part of becoming a man will be acquiring those critical skills that every man should know. Whether it be changing a tire or setting up a campground, firing a shotgun or even how to honor and respect females including their mothers. These lessons are best experienced, not just taught.

The Structure
WHO: 10-12 fathers and their teenage sons gather together with a Relator, who is a 24-32-year-old who can still speak “teenager” but has some experiences to share.
HOW: The group gathers for 60-90 minute in-person facilitated huddles 10 times during the school year plus 5 man-activities.
Enroll in the Program
Enrollment in the Guiding Boys to Men program gets you access to all the resources the Organizer and the Relator will need to start and lead the program. That means the topical discussion guides, the Organizer’s guide, the Relator guide, GB2M wristbands and access to the private Relator forum. Everything but the people. Good news is that you can customize your enrollment for what you need. If you only need the discussion guides that cover the topics for say Junior year than you can do that. If you want access to all 4 years (40 lessons in all) you can do so. You can get started for less than $8 per father.
